She got right down to it and some of these tracks can’t be played on radio even now. Of course radio doesn’t play anything even close to this era. That’s a tragedy that could fill volumes. This is a must have for blues fans This collection contains twenty tracks.
Highlights include: “Barbecue Bess”, “Baking Powder Blues”, “Stew Meat Blues”, “Pig Iron Sally” and the X-rated version of “Shave ‘Em Dry.”
