This is the best Crime Jazz album…period. Peter Gunn is a close second, but this is the champ. The show ran from 1960-62. It starred Doug McClure, Sebastion Cabot and Anthony George as high priced detectives in San Francisco. It was created by Eric Ambler.
The music is incredible. It’s worth whatever it takes to hunt it up. If you see it in your favorite used record/book store, don’t hesitate…grab it.
