2 CD set of Jazz pioneers. Joe Venuti-violin and Eddie Lang-Guitar. Thirty-two tracks from 1928-1933. Other musicians include Clarence Williams, Tommy Dorsey on trumpet. Frankie Trumbauer and King Oliver. There are also some duets with Lang and Lonnie Johnson who used the name Blind Willie Dunn on the sessions.

CD #1 highlights include: “Goin’ Places”, “Cheese And Crackers”, “The Wild Dog” and “In The Bottle Blues.”

CD #2 Highlights include: “It’s Right Here For You”, “Tiger Rag” and “Raggin’ The Scale.”
