Ten stories and the 1948 novel “Sorry, Wrong Number” by Lucille Fletcher and Allan Ullman. This collection contains my absolute favorite Jack Ritchie story “For All The Rude People.” It’s also at the top of the list of my favorite crime stories of all time.
Favorites: “Lemmings” (1957)- Richard Mathieson- Short, short story about the creatures that drown themselves.
“Call For Help” (1964)- Robert Arthur-Two elderly sisters live with their niece and her husband. They’re convinced the two want to kill them.
“For All The Rude People” (1961)- Jack Ritchie- A man has four months to live. He has a unique way of spending his time. I’ll say it again, this is one of my favorite stories.
