Coast Concert-Bobby Hackett and his Jazz Band (1955)

Hackett’s allstar group featuring Jack Teagarden-vocals,trombone, Nappy Lamare-guitar,banjo, Matty Matlock-clarinet, Abe Lincoln-trombone, Phil Stevens-tuba, Don Owens-piano and Nick Fatool-drums. Nine tracks recorded at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Everyone is in top form. The album runs a bit over thirty minutes.

Highlights include: “That’s A Plenty”, “Muskrat Ramble” and “Royal Garden Blues.”
