One legend salutes another. This is a great,great album. Louis is joined by all stars Trummy Young,Barney Bigard,Billy Kyle,Arvell Shaw and Barrett Deems. The Waller standards are all here, “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “Squeeze Me,” and “Honeysuckle Rose.” There’s lots more to enjoy here too, including Velma Middelton joining Louis for,”All That Meat And No Potatoes.” The CD release has twenty-one tracks, including some alternate takes. No matter what you’re musical taste, don’t pass this up.
